Ta-Ching Engineering Construction Private Limited, a Singapore Registered Company, incorporated in March 1974, was founded by Mr Choong Yik Lin and partners.

In 1981, with exceptionally good growth and achievement, Ta-Ching was invited to join Keppel Shipyard as a subsidiary company specialised in Ship and Rig Building, Repairing, Conversion and Industrial Engineering Construction Work.

In 1992, after the restructuring of Keppel Corporation, Ta-Ching was grouped under Keppel Integrated Engineering Limited - a publicly listed company. Ta-Ching Civil Construction Pte Ltd., was thereafter incorporated to focus on Plant construction.

In 1999, Ta-Ching Civil Construction Private Limited was solely bought over by Mr Choong Yik Lin and became a privately owned Company, and he assumed the roles of Chairman and Managing Director.

Today, Ta Ching Group has grown regionally, and consists of the following Companies:
