Conditions of Service for Laundry and Dry Cleaning

We exercise utmost care in processing articles entrusted to us and clean each article using the method that is best suited to its nature and condition.

We cannot assume responsibilities for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials that are not visibly apparent prior to processing. This applies particularly-but is not limited-to suede, leathers, silks, satins, double-face fabrics, vinyl, polyurethanes etc.

In laundering, we cannot assume responsibilities for colour loss, shrinkage or damage to weak and tender fabrics.

The customer must remove any ornaments or special buttons before sending articles in for cleaning. Responsibilities are disclaimed for trimmings, buckles, beads, buttons, belts, shoulder pads, sequins etc.

For any item whose value, as declared by the customer, exceeds S$150.00,the rate charged for cleaning the item will be five (5)% of the declared value otherwise the normal rates apply.

In the event of loss by fire, any other loss or damage to article for which we may accept liability, without prejudice, such liability SHALL NOT EXCEED ten (10) times the rates charged for cleaning the article, provided that the claim is made within twenty-tour (24) hours after receipt of the article, and the original receipt must be presented. Such claim shall be deemed not exceeding S$150.00 or whichever is lowest for any article, unless the value is declared in writing on the receipt.

The articles, whether partially or completely damaged, must be retained by LAUNDRY UNLIMITED upon settlement of claim unless otherwise agreed by LAUNDRY UNLIMITED.

All articles must be claimed within two (2) weeks from the deposit date of the receipt. All unclaimed items will be disposed of after the expiry date unless otherwise specified at time of depositing the articles for cleaning.

Please check number of articles indicated on the receipt, as the LAUNDRY UNLIMITED count must be accepted as correct in case of discrepancy in count or if the customer is not available to verify the number of articles.

All articles must be inspected and customer's dissatisfaction, if any, shall be made know at time of collection. LAUNDRY UNLIMITED shall not be responsible for subsequent complaints.
