Kuraray Co., Ltd. was established in 1926 in Kurashiki, Japan for the commercialization of synthetic rayon the cutting edge technology at the time. Today, the Kuraray group, with its presence in 58 companies spanning across the globe and employing 7,000 people, is a world leader and the biggest producer of PVOH, PVB and special polymer grades.
