Established on 1 October 2000, East Asia Law Corporation (EALC?) was formed by incorporating the law firm of Ganesh & Colin. Founding partners of EALC, Colin Kang and Premchand Soman, are committed towards realism and flexibility as the cornerstones of their practices. In fact, the founders understand adversity where both Colin and Prem were suffering from serious illness but founded this practice to allow them flexibility that are needed to practice law.
After Colins passing in December 2007 at the age of 34, Prems wife Kasturibai Manickam joined EALC as a director, heading the practice together till January 2015 when Prem passed away. Kasturibai Manickam continues to head the law firm and remains committed in providing clients with timely and professional legal services. EALC has a team of dedicated professional lawyers who come from diverse ethnic backgrounds who are well positioned to service clients with personalised and dedicated services.
