DPD International was formally part of DP Design and had undertaken many significant projects in Singapore and overseas.

During the past two decades of its operation, DPDI has acquired the skill and ability to synthesize architectural and interior design in buildings as an integrated and wholesome solution.

The Director of DPD International, Ms Lydia Fong is qualified architect and this attribute has enabled her to fully understand and comprehend the architectural and spatial relationship and potential of projects undertaken.

The successful project of The Esplanade ?Theatres on the Bay marks the beginning of the firms involvement in large civic and commercial projects.

Ms Lydia Fong was formal director of DP Design since its inception in 1982 and had undertaken the interior design of The Esplanade ?Theatres on the Bay. This project consists of a 2000 seat concert hall, 1800 seat lyric theatre and related commercial facilities. The successful completion marks the beginning of the firms involvement in large civic and commercial projects and also enabled the firm to secure works in similar large projects such as the interior design of HDB Hub, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building (HQ), The Singapore Press Holdings HQ, The Singapore Stock Exchange, A*STAR Corporate HQ at Fusionopolis Way, the refurbishment of Marina Square Mall and other large overseas project such as The Dubai Mall, Myanmar Convention centre ,Kuningan city and Greenbay superblock @ Jakarta .

With the establishment of our Shanghai office in 1996, DPDI went on to accomplished the interior design of the Performing Arts Centre in Suzhou China, Expo Main Axis in Shanghai, Hangzhou Mix Development of Hilton DT, Shama Service Apartment, Office Mix Development, Foshan Tiandi and the Wuxi Radisson Resort Development.

DPD International is also involved in public and institutional buildings, resort and recreation projects, golf clubs, college buildings, conservation and preservation projects, hotels, housing, industrial buildings and offices. These include private and public companies, government and semi-government bodies, institutions and private developers.

Other experience includes space planning for large corporate offices, hospitality works of hotel, service apartment, mixed developments and the positioning and branding strategy for retail outlets. These have built upon the continual desire to explore new grounds and to extend the frontier of interior design as the sole objective to a broader and holistic concept of design that embraces all aspects of commercial and individual needs of our clients.
