Bio-scaffold International Pte Ltd (BSI) is an Tissue Scaffold and Implant manufacturing company using Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing). The primary focus of the company is in development of scaffolds and impants for tissue engineering which include repair and replacement of human tissue including bones, ligaments and joints. BSI is the one of the early adopters 3D printing for producing tissue engineering scaffolds and is the first company to to mass produce and commercialize Alvelacâ„¢. Alvelac aids in the preservation of bone mass and volume in the alveolar socket after tooth extraction. BSI is working on extending the dental applications and development of new products to address applications in Orthopaedics, Plastic Reconstructive Surgery and allied fields.
